Selfless by Brian Lowery

★★★☆☆ | Psychology | Print | Own | StoryGraph | Goodreads

The main premise of the book is that our “self” is not contained in our body, but is instead formed by relationships with others.

People overestimate the amount of Freedom they want (or can handle).

Your self is constantly changing based on your environment and relationships.  There is no constant you.

Your self lives on after the body dies in the memories of others.

“Who your friends are says a lot about who you are and will be.”
